MWINB FALL GIRLS TRIP 2026

All Aboard for a Fall Getaway to Glenwood Springs

DEPARTING: Friday, September 25, 2026
RETURNING: Sunday, September 27, 2026

A Fall Getaway You’ll Talk About for Years

Some trips are about the destination.

This one is about the journey, the people, and the memories you didn’t know you needed.

This fall, Mountain Women in Business is heading to Glenwood Springs for a long weekend that blends breathtaking scenery, historic charm, deep conversation, laughter, and just the right amount of adventure.

Whether you come for the hot springs, the train ride, or the friendships that form when you slow down together, this trip has a way of becoming a favorite.

The Journey Is Half the Magic

There’s something special about boarding the train in Denver and watching the world change outside your window.

Canyons. Rivers. Golden aspens. Mountain towns you don’t see from the highway.

The train ride from Denver to Glenwood Springs is a bucket-list Colorado experience all on its own. It’s relaxed, scenic, and gives you hours to talk, laugh, read, sip coffee, or simply stare out the window and take it all in.

Where We’ll Stay

We’ll be calling Hotel Colorado home for the weekend.

It’s iconic, historic, and right in the heart of downtown Glenwood Springs.

Think grand staircases, cozy corners, mountain views, and the kind of place that makes the whole trip feel special. Staying together in one central spot makes it easy to gather, wander downtown, and bump into each other throughout the weekend.

Many members choose to share rooms to save on costs and build connections even faster.

What Our Days Can Look Like

This weekend is intentionally flexible. There’s plenty planned, and plenty of room to choose what feels right for you.

  • Soaking in hot springs.

  • Exploring caves and gondola rides.

  • Wandering downtown shops.

  • Wine tasting.

  • Scenic hikes.

  • Spa time.

  • Late breakfasts and unhurried conversations.

  • Laughing until your face hurts.

You don’t have to do everything. You don’t have to do anything. You get to decide.

What to Expect for Costs

We’ve worked hard to keep this trip approachable and flexible, so you can choose what works best for you.

Train Travel
(Optional, but highly recommended)

We’ve secured a round-trip group rate of $211 per person on the California Zephyr. This rate is only available if you sign up by May 1st.

If you select the train option:

  • Your ticket will be handled and purchased through Mountain Women in Business

  • You won’t need to book anything separately for the train

  • You’ll ride with the group and start the weekend together

After May 1, you can still join us by train, but you’ll need to purchase your ticket directly through Amtrak at the current public rate, which is typically higher than the group rate.

Driving or Carpooling
If you’d rather drive, that’s cool too.

Driving or carpooling is a great way to:

  • Save money

  • Travel on your own schedule

  • Share the ride (and the gas) with other members

On the sign-up form, you’ll be able to indicate whether you’re driving, riding with someone else, or open to carpooling. We’ll help connect people as the trip gets closer.

Lodging at Hotel Colorado
You Book Your Room

Centrally located, walkable, and discounted room rates starting at $209 per night.

You’ll be responsible for booking your own hotel room, which gives you flexibility to:

  • Choose your room type

  • Decide whether you want to share a room

  • Control your total lodging cost

To make it more affordable, many members choose to share a room. Let us know if you’d like help being connected with someone who’s also looking for a roommate.

Once you sign up for the train or carpool, we’ll send you the special discounted booking link and instructions so you can reserve your room directly with the hotel.

Questions? We've got you.
